what would happened to the development of a dividing embryonic mass if several pluripotent cells were removed?

Nothing will happen to the development of the developing embryonic mass.  Any pluripotent cell has the ability to develop into a wide range of tissues.  If cells in the apical ectodermal ridge are removed, then development of a limb would be affected.
Biology - The only science where multiplication and division mean the same thing.
