argh im getting so frustrated with this problem..I just dont understand it.  If someone can answer this problem and explain how ill give 5 stars!

Find the function value of:
g(x) = 2x + 5  if g(x) = g(a) + 2

All i know is that the answer is 48.  I dont know how.

you need to rethink this problem...if g(x) = g(a) + 2 then g(x) must be a constant....

and from g(x) = 2x + 5 then that constant must be 5..but that means g(a) = 3 ? 5

so you have a logic error in the write-up
