In my text, it appears the nuclear membrane is a phospholipid covering on the outside and a different layer on the inside.  Both layers look like phospholipids from the drawing but I wasn't sure if it was composed of that.  Is this a double membrane of 2 bilayers of phospholipids??

Are all membranes bounding organelles made of phospholipids or is this only the case for the nuclear envelope?

It appears that the plasma membrane is also made of phospholipid bilayer with embedded proteins but that is not covered until later in my book.

Thanks!
