Elaine and Phil have been married for ten years, and still find themselves having a fairly heated argument about something at least once a week. They're worried, because they think this means that their relationship is not as solid as it should be. They think that if they were more mature, they wouldn't have arguments and that they should figure out how they can avoid arguing. Even when they try to work things out when they're arguing, sometimes they just can't agree, and they're worried about that, too. Basically, they think that conflict is always negative and should be avoided at all costs. Explain to Elaine and Phil which myths about conflict they seem to share and why they are myths.
