Rome exemplified a Greco-Roman civilization in what way?

  A) Rome had adopted many features of the Greek World upon conquest; their influence can be seen in literature.
  B) Rome had adopted many features of the Greek World upon conquest; their influence can be seen in art.
  C) Rome chose a method of persecuting those with Greek ideas and or attributes and instead only adopted the elements they could improve upon.
  D) Rome had adopted many features of the Greek World upon conquest; their influence can be seen in literature, art, language, and philosophy. The Romans, however, also saw the Greeks as rivaled and chose to either change what was once Greek in origin, or improve upon it (like architecture). Thus, Rome embraced the very best of both civilizations.
  E) Rome did not have her own identity separate from the Greeks, therefore, she did not exemplify the ideal.
