Judging from the text, why did factory workers marry earlier and have more children than artisans or peasants?
 
  a. A wife and children could also work in factories and so were economic assets especially in old age.
  b. Migration into the cities broke down traditional peasant values such as thrift and sexual abstinence.
  c. Birth control was not available in the cities.
  d. They felt the need to relieve the loneliness and anomie of the cities.
  e. Factory owners encouraged the practice with incentives.
