What effect did the English Civil War have on English migration to the colonies?
 
  A) It curtailed the Great Migration because Puritans chose to stay and fight Charles and support the rule of Cromwell.
  B) It increased migration to the colonies as Englishmen and women sought to escape the chaos of warfare.
