In France, prior to the French Revolution, what were the three estates?
 
  A) The Primary Estate of the ruling class, the Mass Estate made up of the peasants and military, and the Church Estate of the clergy.
  B) The First Estate made up of the clergy, the Second Estate consisting of the nobility, and the Third Estate, which included everyone else.
  C) The Philosophes Estate made up of intellectuals, the Major Estates consisting of the government, and the General Estate of the masses.
