I would like to just know the general  procedure in which an antibody meant to catch the other antibody or the analite is fixated to the coating (and what the coating is made of ) in the ELISA well.
as they are given already made to me to use and no one aroud gives me a straight answer.

well, thanks,  i can't say that was exactly what i was looking for. I know the basic about Elisa and to prepare it without questioning and why it works, all except in how they make the "primary antibody"  stand still in the coating at the base... after re-reading my question i guess i didnt make the point properly in the body of the post, but i think i was clear in the title.
After reading a ZIGMA materials catalog i found that the surface of the wells is coated with  a special material named POLY-SORP, others are made of NBS and Poly-Lysine.
if any one else had the same question i guess they can start by understanding what are those.
saludos people that find this by googling.
