I calculated the answer but want to make sure

f(x) = 1 - 2x^2

f [ f (x) ]

f [ 1 - 2x^2 ]

1 - 2 (1 - 2x^2)^2

1 - 2 [(1 - 2x^2) (1 -2 x^2)]

1 - 2 [1 - 4x^2 + 4x^4]

1 - 2 + 8x^2 - 8x^4

= -8x^4 + 8x^2 - 1

The solution book says the answer as -1 + 4x^2

Did I miss something?
