Motion of Stars at the Poles

Description
Because Earth rotates around the axis through its poles, stars seen from these locations appear to move in huge, horizontal circles. This is the same effect you would get by standing up in a room and spinning around; everything would appear to move in circles around you. At the North Pole, stars move left to right, while at the South Pole they move right to left.
