Arteries carry oxygenated blood to the body.  Arterioles are the smaller vessels that branch out from arteries to supply blood to capillaries, which directly supply blood to tissues.  Venules are the "return" lines from those capillaries, with waste products and low oxygen content.

Were this question not multiple choice, you could also have assumed this came from a vein or vena cava (the vein-equivalent to the aorta).  As the question specifies you have drawn the blood, a vein is most likely: venules are generally too small to use for a blood sample, and if you drew blood from the vena cava, you would have a highly irritated patient with a needle stuck into their heart.
