Two populations of deer, one large one living in a mainland forest and a small one inhabiting a forest on an island, regularly exchange members who migrate across a land bridge that connects the island to the mainland.

If you compared the allele frequencies in the two populations, what would you expect to find?
A) the allele frequencies of both populations are exactly the same.
B) the allele frequencies of both populations are likely to be similar.
C) the allele frequencies of both populations are completely different.

Please explain
An earthquake destroys the bridge between the island and the mainland, making migration impossible for the deer. What do you expect will happen to allele frequencies in the two populations over the following 10 generations?
A) The allele frequencies in the two populations will be expected to remain the same as they were before the earthquake.
B) Eventually, the allele frequencies in the two populations will be expected to differ.
C) The allele frequencies in the two populations will be expected to differ from what they were before the earthquake but still will not differ from one another.

B--If the populations regularly exchange individuals, then they are also regularly exchanging the genetic info (represented by differing alleles) that those individuals have.  Exchanging this information would keep the allele frequencies similar between the two environments
