According to Section 10.3, many compounds like phosphocreatine and phosphoenolpyruvate have higher Gibbs energies of hydrolysis than ATP.
 
  This being the case, why would these high-energy compounds not be more useful than ATP for coupling exergonic and endergonic processes?
