One way to create three-dimensionality for flat lighting is to
 
  a. place LED lights within the set so they reflect off scenery pieces.
  b. wash out the shadows with fluorescent lamps.
  c. use the same lighting as that used for chroma keying.
  d. put more light on the set in order to decrease the depth of field.
