Four-year old David has cerebral palsy with normal vision, normal intelligence and age-appropriate language skills. He uses an AAC system because of severely unintelligible speech.

Because of his neuromotor impairment, he is wheelchair bound and at risk for aspiration requiring the use of a feeding tube. He is also at risk for developing reading and writing disorders because
  a) He has had limited experience with coloring, drawing and printing as his neuromotor impairment involves his arms and hands as well.
  b) His cerebral palsy has diminished his capacity to learn to read and write.
  c) His parents and teachers don't see reading and writing instruction as a priority.
  d) His AAC system does not incorporate the use of reading and writing for learning and communicating.
  e) All of the above
  f) All but b
