3.  |x-2| > 9

A.  x can be any real number, i.e. it's in the interval (-infinity,infinity)
B.  x is in the interval [-7,11]
C.  x is in the interval (-7,11)

I've tried this problem numerous times to no avail, can anyone try to figure this out with me?

Keep in mind:

(7, 11) = 8, 9, 10
[7, 11] = 7, 8, 9, 10, 11

I believe A corresponds to the first one.
