Why would a tall woman be at less risk of osteoporosis than a short woman, yet both would be at higher risk than a man?

The severity of a case of osteoporosis is directly related to the bone mass of the individual. A tall female would tend to have a higher bone mass than a woman with a slight build. However, since females experience a loss of estrogen, they would lose bone mass faster than a typical male.
