One suggestion for assisting a child with hearing impairment is
 
  a. do not allow the child to play in activities like dramatic play as it might frustrate him or her.
  b. place yourself above the child's eye-level and in a dimly lit place when speaking to the child.
  c. sit the child across you at circle time.
  d. rephrase your sentence if the child does not seem to understand you.
