Will it beneficial to the courier services company in terms of operations of recieving the courier parcel from their customers at their residence or office? i.e. parcel collection services

A centralized office helps a large company organize itself, and allows for more customer retention. The more physical locations that exist, the easier it is for customer to use your service. The problem with having a staff member/personnel come to your house is that the risk falls wholly on the company -- a customer that changes their mind last minute, for instance, would be time consuming and costly. Also, depending on the size of the parcel, the company would need to invest in fleets of trucks to accommodate the size of parcels. They'd need to pay for insurance in case something were to go wrong at the sight of pickup or in traffic.

To give a phone call to the courier company for collecting the parcel/s.

Or

Visiting yourself or somebody else at your residence or office to the courier service company with the parcel/s?
