The demand for a commodity is given by x=1000(p+2)e^-p where x is the number of items and p is the unit price in hundreds of dollars. For what price id the revenue a maximum?

Take the derivative of x and set that equal to zero and find p.

Take p and plug back to the original equation to find x.
