1-   During DNA synthesis, small fragments of DNA are formed.  They were collected and combined with total DNA.  The mixture was heated and cooled down.  What would you expect to happen?
a.   The small fragments would hybridize together
b.   The small fragments would not hybridize to native DNA
c.   The small fragments would hybridize to the leading strand; the one that is continuously synthesized.
d.   The small fragments would hybridize to the trailing strand.
e.   The small fragments would hybridize to both strands of DNA.Neutral Face


I think it is E. but it is so confusing!  Please help me figure it out and explain your reasoning.
