When researchers want to generalize their results beyond the group of people who actually participated in the study, one significant problem is that
a. they need to get permission from their participants after the study, which is not always possible online.
b. the people who spend time online tend not to take internet research seriously, so their responses are questionable.
c. response rates on internet research are typically quite low, leading to biased sets of responses.
d. the population from which the participants come is not well-defined, so researchers don’t know to whom they can generalize the results.
