No, they go through incomplete metamorphosis. In complete metamorphosis there is four stages, the third is the pupa stage, which is a time out for the animal. Frogs never go through this stage. Most people think they go through complete metamorphosis because they look nothing like what they did as an immature. But they go through incomplete metamorphosis
