Explain the importance of relationship between evolution and Hardy-Weinberg principle!! URGENT.. a prompt answer will be greatly appreciated!

hardy weinberg holds assumptions about a population that contradict some principles of evolution. Although hardyweinberg is commonly used to statistcally analyze gene flow and traits in a population, it assume that there is random mating (no mate selection), infinite population size, no migration (in or out), no mutation, and no natural selection. you can see that this contradicts some aspects in evolution but still can be a helpful mathematical predictor in allele frequency.
