What jobs can i get with a degree in Psychology?

A psychology degree alone often won't get you much of anywhere. It's best to go on to grad school if you want to become a psychiatrist or do anything in the medical field. Also, if you;d like to stay in academics or research, you will need to continue onto grad school. Counseling is another option you could look into. However, depending on which type of counseling you'd like to go into, you might consider double majoring. Education might be a good double major if you'd like to work with kids or teens. Social work might be another good option to consider or if your school has any programs for substance abuse counseling, that might be another thing you could look into.

Psychiatrists are medical doctors and have to attend medical school
