I'm taking AP biology in high school, the text book we are using is "Biology The Unity and Diversity of Life", I would like to know if that is a good book.  I also would like to buy a book to help me, with AP gov. and AP bio, which ones would you recommend? I heard Barron's is pretty good, but I would like more opinions. Thank you.

Barron's hasn't come out yet with an AP Bio 2013 edition because the curriculum was changed. However, it's supposed to come out in Dec / Jan and I highly suggested investing in it. AMSCO AP Biology is also a really good review guide. I have the AP US edition and it's literally my savior.
