First you use the point-slope form to find the y-intercept, and the slope would be the negative reciprocal. Point-Slope Form-y-y1=m(x-x2).-Plug in the 7 in for y1 and the -8 in for x2 (Remember 2 negatives make a positive.Then add y1 to mx-mx2 and you will get y=mx+b
