In 2003, at the point when the government of Saddam Hussein had fallen, U.S. military officials developed a list of 52 Iraqi officials that they wanted to capture. They used the metaphor of a deck of playing cards and produced such a deck with the photographs of the various people they sought.  Saddam Hussein, for instance, was the Ace of Spades.  If we were to analyze this in terms of Buck and VanLear's model for nonverbal communication, the depiction of Saddam Hussein would represent:
A) spontaneous nonverbal communication.
B) graphic nonverbal communication.
C) iconic nonverbal communication.
D) all of the above
