I have a few questions that I have to answer for homeowrk and I am having trouble answering them. I was wondering if any of you guys know them. Thanks in advance.
1. During Eukaryotic gene expression, what part of the DNA is EXPRESSED?
2. What happens to the mRNA after it has been transcribed in a eukaryote?
3. What molecule is involved in this process?
4. How are the lac operon and eukaryotic gene expression similar?

coding regions (exons).

2. What happens to the mRNA after it has been transcribed in a eukaryote?
mRNA is exported from the nucleus to the cytoplasm.

3. What molecule is involved in this process?
Amino acids to form proteins.

4. How are the lac operon and eukaryotic gene expression similar?
Translating the conding regions into amino acidsby having the basic elements of gene expression (promoter - terminator - mRNA - tRNA - rRNA)

* I am sure thought about the last question
hope that helps
