The allele for brown eyes is dominant; the allele for blue eyes is recessive. Assume that a male has both alleles, but that a female has blue eyes. What percentage of their children will, on average have blue eyes?

fifty percent for brown or blue

B - Brown
b - Blue

these are the possible combinations, the mother will always pass down a blue eyed allele, and the father can give either a blue or brown, theres a fifty percent chance of each.

Bb  the Brown from dad and the first blue from mom
Bb  the brown from dad and the second blue from mom
bb  the blue from dad and the first blue from mom
bb   the blue from dad and the second blue from mom

sorry it's so confusing to type
