I'm glad you asked that!  -And well done for getting around the lack of opposable thumbs!

Easiest way:  Mix up some pancake batter using green food colouring (enough to turn the resulting pancakes green).  Make pancakes (small ones).  These shall be the thylakoids.  Stack up your pancakes into stacks of 4-6; you've just made grana.  Place the stacks into a tissue box you have previously covered in green felt or tissue paper.

Ta-DA!  A chloroplast you can eat (please don't eat the tissue box).
