How does the change from water vapor to cloud droplets add heat to the atmosphere?

How does differential heating and cooling of Earth’s surface result in global scale winds like the Trade Winds and Westerlies?

What type of weather usually accompanies a drop in air pressure? What type of weather usually accompanies a rise in air pressure?  Explain the relationship between pressure and the weather.

When water vapor condenses to form cloud droplets, it releases latent heat into the atmosphere. This heat is a result of the energy that was absorbed by the water molecules during the process of evaporation. When the water vapor cools and condenses into cloud droplets, the energy is released back into the atmosphere, warming the air around the newly formed cloud. This heating effect is important in the development of thunderstorms and hurricanes. Water vapor is also an important gas in the Earth’s heat-energy balance, as it strongly absorbs infrared radiation.
