Alright, disaccharide is basically 2 monosaccharides that connect together by condesation reaction ( removal of water to form a larger molecule). Condensation reaction takes an H atom from the end of one molecule and the OH off another forming H2O which is released. The bonding of 2 sugar molecules is called a glycosidic linkage.
three examples of it would be:
Fructore + Glucse = Sucrose (table sugar)
Glucose + Glucose = Maltose (used to prduce beer)
Glucose + Galactose = Lactose (sugar from milk)

anything that ends with -ose has something to do with sugar

hope it helps
