I know it's a gram-negative bacteria because it took up the safranin after the gram stain.  It appears to be rod like shaped and in a cluster like formation.  I'm having a hard time identifying it.  Any input would be great.  Thanks.

In order to identify the organism, you need to do more tests.  Does the bacteria grow anaerobically, are there endospores, is it motile, until you can narrow it down more.  There are many different bacteria that are gram-negative rods.
