Please explain why or why not in simple terms if possible.

If there is no active transport mechanism, only tiny particles would be able to pass through the cell membrane, which excludes most of the things you listed. I would say water, gases, ions and ethanol would be the only things on your list that can diffuse through a plasma membrane.
