Would a benzene ring with a CO2H group attached to it have a higher polarity than a benzene ring with a CH3 group attached to it? I'm thinking the answer is yes, but I am not completely sure. Can somebody please explain?

You're right    C6H5COOH is so polar that a proton may be released. This is because -COOH is a functional acid group in organic chem
