oxygen through the splitting of water during the light dependant reaction. The energy used from this promotes an electron (energetically) to an excited electron acceptor and the resulting chemical gradient forms, among other products, Acety coenzyme A - i think. I get confused with glycolysis

It is Carbon dioxide

If I remember my chemistry (from 30 years ago), a reactant is consumed to make another product.

I think the answer carbon dioxide.

Glucose and Oxygen are the products of reaction (the other side of the equation)

Enzymes are used to break down protiens... so I don't think it's that.

By deductive reasoning... I think carbon dioxide is a reactant.
