I know there are charts that have formulas like saying NH4+ is ammonium, but no charts seem to have formulas for Polyatomic ions ending in -ide like Carbide, phosphide,Nitride,sulphide, Chloride, and Oxide. Where is a formula or chart to figure out the names of ions ending in -ide , specifically the ones mentioned above for high school chemistry level .Also wahat is the McK rule in chemistry?
