okay so if you are a clinical Laboratory scientist right now and you want to go back to school to become a doctor what type of doctor can you be.

You can be any kind of doctor; you choose the last year of medical school when applying for residency.
Lab techs may prefer pathology or infectious disease.

Absolutely any type.  We all get pretty much the same education (with the exception of a few elective  clinical rotations), and we don't learn our specific specialties until residency.

You never know what might catch your fancy.  I went to school with a radiographer who was going to become a radiologist, but went into rehab medicine.  You just can't know ahead of time, even if you THINK you know.
