The pyloric sphinter "seals" the distal part of the stomach.  It opens periodally to allow some of the stomach contents (chyme) to enter the small intestine.

14. Probably exteme fatigue at the slightest exertion.

15. Deamination of amino acids and conversion of the amino groups to urea;  production of bile.

The pyloric sphincter is a gateway that allows chyme to pass from the stomach to the small intestines.

The definition of a sphincter is a ring of muscle.
