the solid i am refering to is metamitron( a herbicide) , this decomposes  on heating..How to find its boiling point?? and wht is the vapour pressure of a solid? how to find it? and what does it signify? Please explain with definition the vapour pressure of a solid

A substance will boil at a lower temperature if you do it under vacuum.  By getting the boiling point at different pressures, you can (reasonably) extrapolate the boiling point at standard pressure.

Solids do have vapour pressure the same as liquids  but it is usually so low that it is extremely hard to measure.  One example I found was that in the entire universe there is only one molecule of tungsten in a gaseous state at room temperature.  The main solids that have a significant vapour pressure are napthelene and dry ice. Ice will also sublimate but very slowly.  Under normal testing conditions if a solid decomposes when heated it will not have a boiling point.
