Question: Refer to the images to identify cytokinesis either by the process of a cleavage furrow or cell plate.

I don't know exactly what type of answer is being asked of this question..

Is it wanting to know the cell type such as Animal / Plant? Is it wanting to know what phase it is occurring?

Can anyone help to clarify what type of answer it appears to be looking for?

The cleavage furrow only forms in animal cells, whereas the cell plate forms in plant cells only.

It appears that in the first picture, the cell doesn't have a cell wall because a cell wall would make the cell look rigid, almost like squares. Therefore,

1st Pic: Animal cell, therefore cleavage furrow.

2nd Pic: Plant cell laying down cell plate (cellulose)

3rd Pic: Also appears to be a plant cell

Please mark the response solved if satisfied with the answer!
