The question is of the thousands of enzymes known, there is a family of enzymes called proteases that catalyze a reaction breaking down proteins. What do you think would happen if you added a protease to your sample of catalase before proceeding with an experiment where catalase and hydrogen peroxide are mixed? Im soo confused please help!

Proteases hydrolyze the peptide bonds of proteins fragmenting the protein or breaking them down into their constituent amino acids.

Don't be a friggin retard.  A catalse is what?  A protease is what?  Then what will a protease do to a catalase? And how will the catalase function after that?

Proteases break down ALL protein, which includes catalase. Your experiment wouldn't necessarily work because the protease would break down the catalase before your hydrogen peroxide would be introduced.
