We shall break it down into parts:

[Four times] the [difference of [triple a number] and [- 10]]

So, taking the nested brackets first and calling the "number" x, we get:

[Four times] the [difference of [3 * x] and [- 10]]

Taking the next level:

[Four times] the [3 * x - 10]

Now taking away the final bracket:

4 * (3 * x - 10)

If we like we could distribute the 4, but it's not necessary:

12 * x - 40

The other answers are wrong, sorry to say.

Four times the difference of triple a number and -10 would algebraically look like 4(3x-(-10)) which simplified looks like, 4(3x+10) because you are subtracting a negative.

This factors out to be 12x + 40

12x+40 is your answer.
