Assuming you mean Mendel's conclusions about independent assortment, with his pea plant experiments. Stating traits such as size and color of pea pods are trasimitted genetically, and independently of each other. That neither trait affects the likelihood of the other occuring. Bilogical inheritance simply being the process by which said traits are inherited, and the liklihood of certian outcomes due to a parents genetic traits.
