Suppose to headlights on a car are separated by 1 meter and you are looking at the car from a distance of 2 kilometers. What is the angular separation of the headlights? Can your eyes resolve the two headlights?

Hi there, you need to use the formula:

alpha = 2/2(pi)(d) x 360°

This is the formula for angular separation formula; also recall that the angular resolution of the human eye is about 0.020°.

Now just plug and play Wink Face

Let me know if you need more help.
