what are the equations of projectile motion in terms of Velocity initial (y) = Viy, gravity = g, etc. i dont need the trig equations.

Same As Kinematic Equations Just Use It In Y & X direction Differently also If You Know Derivative(calculus) they can be counted but not really equation but way to solve.

Horizontal motion is independent of vertical motion.  Solve separetly.

Same as any other motion:

distance = 0.5*acceleration * time^2 + original velocity * time
velocity = acceleration * Time + original velocity
Horizontal Range on a horizontal plane = (original velocity^2) * (sin (2*launch angle))/acceleration of gravity
