Why do the middle and upper portions of Earth's atmosphere show a greater warming from increased CO2 than near the surface?
A) High levels of water vapor above the surface mask the effects of increased CO2.
B) There is more CO2 in these locations.
C) The depletion of ozone allows more sunlight into these regions.
D) These regions are closer to the sun so they receive more insolation.
