Origin- attachment that moves the least during muscle contraction
Insertion- attachment that moves the most during muscle contraction

If we look at the bending of the elbow, what is the origin and what is the insertion?
The radius and ulna (insertion), humerus (origin)?

How about the swinging of the whole arm backwards and forwards?

You;re right about the radius and ulna being the insertion while the humerus is the origin. Because the arm (humerus) is attached to the body, it limits its movement. As for the forearm (radius and ulna), it is more of a free appendage heheheheh

Swinging of the whole are backwards and forward, I would say the insertion is the humerus while the scapula acts as the origin

hope this helps ^_^
